AMY KECA

Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Amy Keca is an actor and theatre artist with a B.A. in Theatre: Acting & Theatrical Design and Technology from North Central College. She has worn many different theatrical hats, but has recently found a special love for storytelling through costume design. She’s always had an immense appreciation for the art of costume design, but when she discovered her own passion for it, it not only introduced her to a new form of creativity, but also revitalized her love of art from when she was a child.

As truly passionate as she is about design, acting and singing will always be her first loves. Amy started acting when she was 9, and singing before she could speak, and she’s spent all her time since then learning and growing at every opportunity! At 12 years old, she saw her first Broadway in Chicago production, and for the first time realized that being on that stage was a goal she could attain. She is of the firm belief that growth never stops, and that one can always learn something new from any and all experiences. She adopted this belief from her variety of unique performance experiences, including original productions, devised theatre, radio plays, puppetry and drag.
